Membership: Children in 4th through 6th grades
The children learn to quote and understand passages of Scripture, and then display that knowledge at the church, association, and state levels.
There are four parts to the drills:
- Quotation Drill - Children memorize 25 Bible verses and quote them when given references.
- Completion Drill - Given the first few words of a verse chosen from the 25 memorized, Bible Drillers must quote the complete verse and give the reference.
- Key Passage Drill - 10 Bible verse references are memorized, and when given, are located and read in their Bibles.
- Book Drill - When a book of the Bible is called, students find the called book and respond with the names of the book before, the called book, and the book after.
